Our History
Our history is rooted in generations of Springfield Township families whose stories, hard work, and community pride continue to inspire and shape the township we know today.
About Us
Experience Springfield Township was created by local Realtor Tia Lentini as a heartfelt tribute to her family’s deep roots in the community. Inspired by her grandparents, Patricia (Wieland) Bragwell and Bill Bragwell—longtime Springfield Township residents—and her great-great-grandfather, Carl Wieland, a proud Sawyerwood entrepreneur, this platform honors the legacy of those who helped shape the place we call home.
Tia was soon joined by her husband, Steve Lentini, whose passion for community storytelling and local engagement helped grow the project into what it is today. Steve continues to manage Experience Springfield Township, ensuring it remains a trusted resource and a proud reflection of the township’s history and future. Today, Experience Springfield Township is a community nonprofit dedicated to serving the township and its residents.
What began as a family connection has grown into a community nonprofit dedicated to celebrating the people, places, and stories that make Springfield Township unique. Experience Springfield Township brings together local history, events, services, real estate insights, and neighborhood highlights to help residents and visitors explore everything our township has to offer.
Rooted in heritage and driven by community pride, Experience Springfield Township is now a community nonprofit dedicated to keeping our township connected, informed, and celebrated—today and for generations to come.

“Experience Springfield Township is more than a community page to me. It’s a tribute to my family’s legacy and a way to honor the place that shaped us. I created this platform so our residents, old and new, can feel connected, supported, and proud to call Springfield Township home.” — Tia Lentini
